While “Pêcheurs de perles” can be problematic, Cyril Dubois as Nadir is certainly not (Nov. 2019); “Candide” is good news in general. Deshayes & Sekgapane headline “Cenerentola”, “Don Carlo” comes with Kate Aldrich as Eboli.
While “Lakmé” *is* probematic, Jodie Devos in the lead is a dazzling perspective. Speranza Scappucci conducts “Sonnambula”; Anna Pirozzi (Abigaille) and Rinat Shaham (Fenena) star in “Nabucco”.
